Mr. Vice-Chairperson: Good afternoon. Will the Standing Committee on Public Accounts please come to order.

      Before we get started on–with our business today, I would like to inform the committee that a resignation letter from Mr. Wiebe as Chairperson and as member of this committee was received.

      Ms. Marcelino, Logan, is now the replacement PAC member for the remainder of this Legislature.

      Welcome.

Mr. Vice-Chairperson:  Also, I would like to inform the committee that under rule 104(2), the following membership substitution has been made for this meeting: Mr. Isleifson for Mr. Bindle.

Mr. Vice-Chairperson: This meeting has been called for the purpose of electing a new Chairperson.

      Are there any nominations for this position?

Ms. Flor Marcelino (Logan): Mr. Chair, I respect­fully nominate Mr. Maloway for the position of Chair.

Mr. Vice-Chairperson: Thank you. Mr. Maloway has been nominated.
